ASBURY PARK, NJ -- Comedian John Poveromo spoke with TAPintoTV about his hosting gig at this year’s Garden State Film Festival, along with his experience as a working stand-up performer and comedy writer.

The 33-year-old stand-up comedian, freelance writer and author was born in Brooklyn, New York, but raised in Toms River, New Jersey. His style is self-deprecating and in his routines he touches on relationships, dating and New Jersey stereotypes. A healthy dose of improvisation makes its way into his performances as well.
