Bio
John Poveromo* has taken his penchant (word of the day) for dissecting the world around him to the stage (Or any stable surface), easily becoming one of the most engaging young comics working today! (In five years I’ll drop engaging and young and add desperate.) His sharp wit mixed with pop culture references make him a favorite at (community) colleges and comedy clubs (bars) across the country Galaxy. (After Pluto was stripped of it’s status as a planet it became “The Laugh Tit”. No pay-and you had to finish your set before you ran out of oxygen, but stage time is stage time am I right?!) John’s been featured in the NY Times (Oh I can’t wait to Google tha-Zzzzzzz) and the Asbury Park Press (BRRRUUUUCCEE). He’s also appeared on Comcast On-Demand’s “Young Comedians Showcase” (Yeah, I have Fios I’ve never seen it either), Sirius XM Radio (WHAT THE SHIT?! They merged?), and the New York Underground Comedy Festival (What? I’m actually proud of this one).
